Ape Pansala is a free app that lets devotees reserve a date to offer Dana at the temple, replacing the paper calendar in the temple office. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and how to remove it.

What we collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, messages, browsing activity, or any financial or payment information. The app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking of your behaviour.

How your information is used

To create and manage your account.
To show the temple calendar and record your reservation.
To let temple administrators review and confirm reservations, and contact you about them.
To notify you when your reservation is confirmed, changed, or cancelled.

Your information is never sold, rented, or used for advertising.

Who can see what

Other devotees can see the name on a reservation and the note attached to it, on the temple calendar. Nothing else.
Temple administrators can see your name, email address, and phone number, so they can manage reservations and contact you.
Nobody else. Your phone number is stored separately from the public calendar entry specifically so that it is not visible to other devotees.

Services we rely on

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

How long we keep it

Your account details are kept while your account exists. Records of past Dana offerings are kept as part of the temple's own history, in the same way the paper calendar was kept.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Profile → Account & security → Delete account.

When you delete your account:

Your upcoming reservations are released so other devotees can take those dates.
Any pending requests you made are withdrawn.
Your name, email address, phone number, and photo are removed.
Records of past offerings remain in the temple's history without your contact details.

You can also email vidura1159@gmail.com to request deletion.

Children

This app is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

You can view and edit your name and phone number in the app at any time, and delete your account as described above. To request a copy of your data, email vidura1159@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
